Education & Career Workshops for Advancement

We are endeavoring to building and operate schools in South Africa, South of France, and the United States, serving junior and senior high school students. With our strategic partners we aim to deliver sustained education and workshops, that helps young people to be positioned and prepared for their future careers while building international relationships between youth, young adults, families and schools across continents. Key subject content includes STEM-Arts, and Sports, with interactive sessions hosted by industry leaders. Participants come together via virtual and in-person workshops throughout the year.

Our workshop projects encourage local and int’l executive leaders from corporate business, education, sports, media and entertainment industries to donate their time to become mentors to youth, young adults, families and schools that participate in our annual workshop after school and summer programs.

PROJECT REQUIRING DONATION SUPPORT:

Our school projects have a 5-year total all-in budget of $15 million. Our after-school workshops require annual funding support of $75,000USD. Funding is for digital labs and development of annual virtual and physical workshop program sessions. Programs and content presentations are led by industry executives who donate their time, from cinema film, consumer product creation, financial literacy, coding, AI, graphic design, sports and health & wellness.

Grants for Education & Culture

At The R.E.S.T. Foundation, we believe understanding the importance of education and having a sense of cultural awareness goes hand-in-hand. Supporting students with scholarship grants is an important part of our outreach cultural exchange programs engaged in critical thinking for substantive benefits in education with cultural experiences. These two factors are paramount to solving world issues across borders and continents, and community-based organizations (CBO) play a vital role at the grassroots level of youth & community development.

PROJECTS REQUIRING YOUR DONATION SUPPORT:

  • REST with its partners have a project to build and operate two new schools in Cape Town, (Townships) South Africa. Full project All-In Funding support required for complete development is $15Million USD. Donations will go towards acquiring land, planning, design development, construction and management operations.
  • Our goal is to award 10 scholarships per year to High School students. Scholarship Grants are awarded to academic performers coming from economically challenged environments. Students will attend academic & athletic programs. Project requires long-term annual partnership funding $2.8 million USD per four years.

Supporting Workforce Development Special Trade Skills

Through REST community centers local residents are encouraged and presented opportunities to learn special trade skills training to earn a family sustaining-wage. Giving participants the skills and abilities to re-enter the workforce.

Being a champion for underserved community advancement, we support and are working with local and international partners to effect best practice outcomes for positive change in education and community ecosystems, for equity in sustainable growth in education and youth development, and for a better prepared future global workforce.

Bringing Partnerships Together for Greatest Community Impact

The REST Foundation CSR Community Project, led by Founder & CEO David Rivers, partners with international CSR initiatives and NCAA Athletic Departments to share best practices. With over a decade of experience as an ambassador for Euroleague’s OneTeam CSR. The project aims to connect global community programs with NCAA initiatives, benefiting youth, families, and local communities while offering student-athletes and institutions opportunities for impactful growth and sustainability.

The project partner participants identifies and work to fill the voids in underserved communities through engaged interactive programs that foster awareness, communication exchange, and positive service outlets to help solve problems in local communities.

Partner organizations will work together building personal connections between local and international organizations and people while connecting their perspective communities, institutions and organizations, sharing best practice outcomes. The REST Project is designed to benefit all communities, student-athletes, their future careers and those of their peers, and their institution.
